Our house is in Sainte-Suzanne
Sainte Suzanne is a beautiful medieval hilltop village, overlooking the river Erve,  
in "the unexplored province" of Mayenne in the Pays de la Loire district of France.

    Our  house has three bedrooms ( sleeping 6 or 7 people comfortably), a  large kitchen with a big table,  sitting room, walled garden,  and it is very conveniently situated next door to the best boulangerie in the area!
     
    Ideal for holidays (with masses to do and places to visit) , great for walking,  horse riding, visiting many wonderful chateaux,  picnics, it's a perfect place to relax and also to stay while doing your own creative projects at any time of the year.
     
    The house is lovely in winter, too - it  has a large wood burning stove in the kitchen (and electric heaters in the bedrooms) and an open fireplace in the sitting room.
     
    Included - Free wifi and free local and international calls.

    How to get there:-

    Nearest airports to Ste Suzanne:-
     
    Rennes airport:   (Flybe flies from Southampton to Rennes in 45 mins) and its 1.25 hr drive from the airport to Ste Suzanne.      

    Tours airport is 1.5 hr drive (London airports, Manchester and Stansted).
     
    Fast trains (1 hr) from Paris to Le Mans - hire car pick up at station and 45 mins drive to Sainte Suzanne

    Also fast trains to Laval (35 mins from Ste Suzanne)
     
    By car: 2.5 hours drive from Paris
    4.25 hour drive from Calais (ferry and tunnel)

    Also accessible from  ports of Le Havre , Dieppe  and Cherbourg, etc
    We hope to rent to friends (and friends of friends) in orderto cover the maintenance of the house etc.
